Session Title: | Revolutionizing IT Service Delivery: One Customer's Adoption of VMware Stage Manager |
Session Abstract: | VMware Stage Manager is the market's first management and automation system explicitly targeting preproduction infrastructure and processes for production-bound software systems. Stage Manager allows companies to revolutionize the process of bringing new services into production, updating old services, and managing the entire service transition process. Stage Manager allows IT to visualize, manage and automate "service transition" activities, streamlining the resources and processes required to move an IT service from one stage to another toward (and into) production. This session will, using one customer's implementation story as narrative, provide background on Stage Manager, illustrate how Stage Manager can fit into existing release management processes, and how Stage Manager can materially improve the overall Service Delivery within an IT organization. |
