Building a Greener Data Center with Dell

Presenter:

Dell

Increasing energy efficiency in the data center is not only an environmentally friendly strategy, but also a smart way to cut costs. The cost savings and environmental benefits of consolidation/virtualization are closely aligned. By consolidating servers with virtualization or energy smart servers, organizations can retire their old hardware with energy smart servers to achieve significant savings in power and cooling requirements, resulting in a greener data center. This session will explore how companies can use Dell | Virtualization and Power/Cooling technologies and services to reduce data center power and cooling costs. Examples and case studies using lab and real world environments will be provided.
