Advanced Data Protection with CommVault - The Synthesis of Backup, Replication, Archive and Snapshot Management

This session discusses CommVault's unique ability to provide a single, unified product set to perform traditional backup and recovery operations for mission critical files and applications running in VMware environments, including support for VMware Consolidated Backup. We'll also discuss the ability to use the CommVault suite of software products to manage remote office data in VMware environments using Continuous Data Protection technology, data archiving for both email and files from VMware servers to long term storage for lower TCO including email compliance, and finally the ability to manage all of this activity from a single console utilizing CommVault's Singular Information Management technology. This presentation goes into detail on how to use policy based management to control each of these technologies to protect VMware Infrastructure servers and assist customers in meeting their RTO and RPO objectives while performing space efficient data management.
