Session:

How Florida Hospital is Using SAN Replication to Master Disaster Recovery

Presenter:

Florida Hospital

At Florida Hospital we take Disaster Recovery seriously. The community around us requires our industry to be at it's best when times are tough. In order to meet the needs of health care professionals, Florida Hospital not only embraces VMware, but we have pushed its capabilities to new limits. Business Continuity isn't a 300-pound Gorilla anymore. We have setup SAN replication between our Florida locations and Pennsylvania. In our last scenario test, we were able to have everything up and running, not just on the first try, but 3 or 4 times within arriving on site. We finished so quickly that we decided to go through the process a second, third and fourth time because we didn't want to turn around and go home too quickly. Want to hear our story? We will discuss the equipment used, the technologies involved, the applications we replicate, and the results we have achieved! See you there.
