Accommodation for the VMworld Europe 2008 conference has been reserved for attendees at the following hotels. Please do not call the hotel directly to book your reservation as your hotel room is booked through the VMworld Europe 2008 registration system.

What is the distance of the designated VMworld Europe 2008 hotels to the Palais des Festivals and will shuttle transportation be provided?
The distance of all hotels to the convention centre is listed above. Since all the hotels are within walking distance, no shuttle service will be provided.
What is the hotel cancellation policy?
You can cancel without penalty up to 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If you cancel less than 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date or fail to check in on the scheduled arrival date, your credit card will be charged a penalty equal to one night's room and tax. Some designated hotels charge the first night’s room & tax prior to arrival; if you cancel 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date your credit card will be refunded.
Note: If you need to reserve a room for dates in addition to the VMworld Europe 2008 conference dates, you can still submit your reservation online, and then contact the registration team to update your reservation, and we will accommodate you based on availability. Do I need to contact the hotel to book my reservation?
No, when you register online for the VMworld Europe 2008 conference, we request your hotel choice, check-in and check-out dates, as well as credit card information. A hotel reservation will be made for you and guaranteed with your credit card.
Do I need to give a credit card to reserve my hotel room?
Yes, a credit card will be needed to confirm your reservation at a designated VMworld Europe 2008 hotel. The following credit cards are accepted: American Express, MasterCard and Visa.
What time is check-in and check-out at the hotels reserved for VMworld?
Check-in time is usually 3:00 pm and check-out time is usually 12:00 pm, but these times may vary depending on the hotel. Please check with your hotel for check-in and check-out times.
Do the hotels reserved for VMworld Europe 2008 have disabled access?
All hotels reserved for VMworld Europe 2008 are in full compliance with the European Disabilities Act and special rooms are available upon request.
Can I extend my hotel stay at the VMworld Europe 2008 group rate?
Based on availability, the room rates for the VMworld Europe 2008 hotels in Cannes, France are valid from February 22 – 28.
How can I make changes to my hotel reservation?
Please access your registration from the main registration page. You will need your User Name and Password to log-in.
You can then update your arrival and departure dates, or add a hotel reservation, if you had not reserved a hotel during registration. To change to a different hotel, please contact the VMworld registration team Please call +44 (0) 20 8879 2413 or email vmworldeurope@eventreg.com.
Is transportation provided from the airport to the hotel?
Buses are available to take delegates from Nice airport to the Palais des Festivals all day on Sunday 24 February and Monday 25 February. On Tuesday 26 February the buses will only be available from 09:00-12:00. A return service from the Palais des Festivals directly to Nice Airport is available on Thursday 28 February from midday.
Do you have any agreements with airlines for conference discounts?
We do not have any agreements with airlines. However, we strongly encourage you to book your flights at least 21 days in advance to ensure a discounted price.
