I thought that it was possible to download the material we've used during the hands-on-labs ?

Is this correct or not ?

And if so, where can i find this information ?

Issue with online session INF-VSP5849

Hallo,

I would like to watch the session INF-VSP5849 (http://www.vmworld.com/docs/DOC-6561) but unfortuneatly I can't play it.

"Error: unsupported video type or invalid path" is the error message.

Would be great if you can fix this.

I know this may be premature, but does anyone have any info on VMWorld 2013? I will be attending this year, but I know a lot of people that are not making the trip due to the high cost of flights, hotel, etc. I heard last year the conference would be jumping back and forth from Las Vegas to San Francisco each year, but I have recently heard that VMWare signed a multiyear deal to keep the conference in San Fancisco for the next 5 years?

I do not want to doubt San Francisco too much, but I feel is going to be hard to match Vegas from last year. I am paying almost triple for the hotel compared to last year, and I am staying 6 blocks away. Even with the daily shuttle, it seems like getting around is going to more difficult than last year in Las Vegas? Factor in cost, logistics, weather, and I do not see how San Francisco is going to be any better than Vegas?

If also heard rumor VMWare is considering a east coast/west coast conference? Being from the East coast, I would even welcome that option?

I can only see vedios for day 1 and day 2 general sessions, but no presentations avaialbe... is not not going to be published?

Besides, I attended one session (PAR3379 - A Customer Success Story: Running Business Critical Oracle Enterprise Applications and Oracle Real Application Clusters on vSphere ) which is very good, but cannot find the vedio/presentation of that session as well. does someone know the reason?

I figured I would start a post of issues or comments on VMworld 2012 this year. There was already a post on the bad food but I think it would be well worth it to get everyone on board so VMworld can at least see what we liked and didn't like.

VMworld Barcelona 2012 - Ground Transportation

Hi folks,

does anyone know if there is a ground transportation at Barcelona?

From the airport to the VMworld?

Are there shuttles from the hotels while the exhibition takes place? Or are there tickets for public transporation?

At "San Francisco"-Site under "Hotels & Travel" there is a hint for Ground Transporation... but at "Barcelona" there is no remark.

Barcelona: Lab area open hours

Why isn't the lab area open all day on tuesday? Every other day it is open all day but not on tuesday. There are some of us who prefer doing labs than watch keynote session. I've noticed that many attendees attempted to go to lab area.
