What is included in my registration fee?
Your registration fee for a full conference pass entitles you to the following:

When the conference begins on August 30th, you will need to register onsite. Please note that the onsite registration fee is $100 higher than online registration before August 30th.
What are the registration hours onsite at the event?

When registering, you have the option to pay by credit card, check, purchase order or wire transfer. You can enter in your purchase order number on your registration, then print an invoice directly from the registration site. Beginning July 30, one month before the event, only credit cards will be accepted as payment for registration.
When will I receive confirmation of my registration?
An email confirmation will be sent to you upon completion of your registration. If you have not received this within 12 hours, please alert the registration team at 1 800-365-2459 or 203-851-7802 or by email.
How can I change or update my email address on VMworld.com?
Login at vmworld.com/loginhome.jspa and then click Manage Account > Edit User Profile. Edit your email address on your VMworld account, and then proceed to the VMworld 2010 Registration link. The registration system will now recognize the updated email address.
How can I register for both VMworld U.S. and Europe?
Registration for each event is separate and you will need to register and pay for each event independently. Please use this link for online registration for both events: vmworld.com/registration.jspa
Is there an age minimum for VMworld?
You must be at least 18 years of age to attend the conference and exposition. You must be 21 or older to attend evening functions.
Are group discounts available?
You can receive a discounted rate for groups from 3 to 20 people, from the same company, using one credit card in a single transaction. When registering the group, the main person will go in and complete their registration. When they get to the payment page, they will choose the "VMworld Group Purchase" option. If they want to apply one of the passes to themselves, they will need to check the box "Apply one of these passes to me". Group discounts are not available until after the Earlybird discounted rate has ended on June 25th.
Are non-profit discounts avalable?
Non-profit discounts are not offered for VMworld 2010.
Are Prospective Customer discounts available?
No, there are no discounts for Prospective Customers. If you have questions, please contact your VMware Sales Representative.
Are Partner discounts available?
No, Partners do not receive a discount.
Do you accept My Learn Consulting and Training Credits (PSO) as a form of payment for a VMworld 2010 registration?
Yes, you can purchase a full delegate pass for VMworld 2010 Europe with 20 PSO credits.
Are One Day Passes available?
One-day passes are not available for purchase at this time.

Are guests permitted to attend?
Attendees are permitted to register one guest who is 21 years of age or older. Registered guests are permitted to attend the VMworld Welcome Reception on Monday, August 30, and the VMworld Party on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. The guest pass fee is $275. The guest pass does not include access to Breakout Sessions, General Sessions, Labs, Breakfast or Lunch functions, or any other activities that are reserved for attendees with full conference passes. Guest passes can be purchased during online registration or onsite at the conference registration desk.
Can I be denied registration for any reason?
VMware reserves the right to deny registration to any individual or entity for any reason, in VMware's sole discretion, including for past or present failure to meet VMware's standards of conduct (including, but not limited to, engaging in violent, illegal, threatening, or discriminatory conduct).
The VMworld 2010 Content Catalog will be available for viewing on June 15, 2010. After that date, information is available online at vmworld.com/community/conferences/2010/.
Do I need to pre-register for Breakout Sessions and Self-paced Labs?
There will no pre-registration for the Breakout Sessions and Labs. We encourage you to review the Content Catalog when it is available beginning June 15, and create a schedule once the Schedule Builder tool is available August 3.
When will the Schedule Builder be available?
All registered attendees will receive an email letting you know when the online Schedule Builder tool is available to begin building your schedule. Remember, all sessions and labs are first-come first-serve so building a schedule will not enroll you into the sessions and labs. The VMworld 2010 Content Catalog will be available for viewing session content on June 15, 2010. The Schedule Builder will be available to all VMworld 2010 full conference attendees on August 3, 2010.
Please pick up your badge from the VMworld 2010 registration desk during open registration hours. For security purposes, be prepared to show identification.
Do I need to wear my badge throughout the entire VMworld 2010 conference?
Yes, please wear your conference badge to all functions, sessions and meetings so that you can be readily identified as an attendee of the VMworld 2010 Conference. Every precaution possible is being taken to ensure a safe and secure working environment at VMworld 2010. Please be aware that we will be asking for valid photo identification at registration before releasing a conference badge.
What meals are included in the registration fee?
Breakfast, Lunch and Morning and Afternoon refreshments will be provided on each day of the conference. Full conference attendees are invited to the Welcome Reception on Monday, August 30, 2010, and the VMworld 2010 Party on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. If you have any special dietary requests, please be sure to inform us during the registration process.
Will transportation be provided for the VMworld 2010?
There will be a daily shuttle available for VMworld 2010 registrants. To reduce the impact on the environment, shuttle service will not be provided to hotels within walking distance of the Convention Center. Check back for hotel routes and preliminary schedule.
Transportation for those with special physical needs will be provided. ADA vehicles are on stand-by daily. Please indicate your needs during the conference registration process.

There will not be a dedicated Partner Day at VMworld 2010. Instead, we will have sessions geared towards VMware partners available during the conference. When is the VMworld 2010 Party?
The VMworld 2010 Party will take place on Wednesday, September 1.
What is the recommended attire for VMworld attendees?
Business casual attire is appropriate for attending sessions and breakouts. Casual attire is recommended for the VMworld 2010 Party.
Can I get copies of the material presented at the conference?
Yes, the presentations will be posted immediately after VMworld 2010 on vmworld.com/community/conferences/2010/
What is the common language spoken at VMworld 2010?
The official language of the conference is English and all general sessions will be presented in English. Translation services will not be provided. If you elect to bring in your own translator, please contact the registration support team.
Will Internet stations be available?
There are limited internet stations available so we encourage you to bring your laptop. WIFI will be available throughout the conference center.
