Aug 9, 2010 7:55 AM Mark Lockwood Mark Lockwood    says:
Elastic Sky should be interesting, since the lead singer (and others?) were let go...
Aug 9, 2010 11:02 AM Jason Sehlmeyer Jason Sehlmeyer    says in response to Doug Watkins:

+1

Aug 12, 2010 12:15 PM Matt Donagan Matt Donagan    says in response to Jason Sehlmeyer:

Aug 16, 2010 10:14 AM Allan Marcus Allan Marcus    says:

Wow, an 80's boy band!

What were you thinking?

Aug 18, 2010 10:09 AM Melinda Melinda    says in response to Doug Watkins:
Anybody here willing to add me as their guest so I can buy a guest pass?  PLEASE?????
Aug 18, 2010 11:45 AM Allan Marcus Allan Marcus    says in response to Melinda:
Now why would a 22 year old young lady want to spend $275 to see a bunch of old guys play music tha came our before she was born? :-)
Aug 18, 2010 11:49 AM Melinda Melinda    says in response to Allan Marcus:
I'm not 22, I'm 40 and INXS was the first concert I went to in 1982 and I'm dying to see them again.
Aug 24, 2010 1:01 PM Curtis Webb Curtis Webb    says in response to Melinda:
Hey im 25, and im excited to see them..just had to do a quick YouTube research!!
Aug 25, 2010 6:50 AM Shane Williford Shane Williford    says in response to Curtis Webb:
Umm...I like INXS...or, "liked", but for those who don't know, the lead singer died back in '97 (more info on them here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/INXS). They are not the same group, I'm sure. I'll of course be there, but I agree...they coulda got someone better. I'm *all* for an 80s band though. I would've LOVED to have seen Foreigner last year. I bet that was awesome! Journey is my all time favorite 80s band, but w/out Steve Perry...they just aren't the same. The other singer they have is ok...at least he kinda sounds like Steve, but he isn't Steve. Hopefully they at least have someone who sounds like Michael Hutchence, the former lead singer.
Aug 25, 2010 7:05 AM Mark Lockwood Mark Lockwood    says in response to Shane Williford:
Errr, Shane, you realize Foreigner doesn't have their original lead singer either, right?  VMworld is *the* show to go to if you like bands with non-original lead singers.  Potential 2011 acts: Journey, Alice in Chains, Boston, Sublime... I wonder if Novoselic and Groehl are busy...
Aug 25, 2010 7:13 AM Allan Marcus Allan Marcus    says in response to Mark Lockwood:
chicago too! :-)
Aug 25, 2010 7:18 AM Shane Williford Shane Williford    says in response to Mark Lockwood:

No...didn't realize that; I wondered about that though because I know Lou Graham became a Christian and not sure if he continued with the band. I remember hearing about health problems...is he passed on?

Gosh...where have all the good bands gone???

Aug 25, 2010 8:03 AM Allan Marcus Allan Marcus    says in response to Shane Williford:
wow, I wasn't aware that Christians were not allowed to play in bands.
Aug 25, 2010 8:06 AM Shane Williford Shane Williford    says in response to Allan Marcus:
Ha...that's not true necessarily; but sometimes it happens. It's not that he wouldn't be 'allowed' (or not) to be in the band, but if he felt it was the best thing to do is all. Sorry...didn't mean to suggest something else.
