Con el siguiente comando podemos obtener información sobre el estado de Hyperthreading, en concreto si está disponible (activado desde la BIOS) y en caso de estar disponible, si se encuentra activado a nivel de host.

 

 

El comando es vmware-vim-cmd /hostsvc/hostconfig | more

 

 

¡Busca las diferencias!

 

 

Si está desactivado aparece:

 

 

hyperThread = (vim.host.CpuSchedulerSystem.HyperThreadScheduleInfo) {

       dynamicType = <unset>,

       available = false,

       active = false,

       config = true,

 

 

 

Si está activado aparece:

 

 

hyperThread = (vim.host.CpuSchedulerSystem.HyperThreadScheduleInfo) {

       dynamicType = <unset>,

       available = true,

       active = true,

       config = true,

Una vez activado desde BIOS podemos activarlo o desactivarlo desde la consola del VIC, desde el host deseado, pestaña Configuration, Processors, Properties:

 

 

 

Eso sí, requiere un reinicio del host.
